Hi, I’m Shakil and I’m a Product Designer with 5 years working in B2B SaaS and restaurant hospitality.

My background in Economics allows me the advantage to think holistically, while my passion in Visual Design and Information Architecture within the User Experience Design discipline allows me to deliver beautiful and delightful solutions. Thinking outside the box while being mindful.

I started my career as a traditional graphic designer and have enjoyed transitioning my passion of typography, composition, and design fundamentals into interactive and emotional experiences. With my analytical background I’ve pivoted to user experience design, still keeping a keen eye on visual design, since 2014 and I haven't stop learning since.

In my spare time I like to work on side projects like Iconic Headlines, a visual iconography take on current events. I also started dabbling in writing blogs, a designer's perspective across a broad spectrum of industries and fields. I love user experience and bounce off ideas and observations in the playground. I’m a big fan of 80’s music and 60's architecture and automobile design. Most importantly, I love spending time with my kids and family.
